Salary: $150,000 - 190,000 per year Requirements:

• We prefer a bachelors degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
• We strongly prefer 7+ years of relevant infrastructure experience.
• We prefer prior experience troubleshooting hardware and software.
• We prefer proven experience with systems planning, implementation, security principles, and software management best practices.
• We prefer deep technical knowledge of networking concepts such as Meraki, Cisco, and VoIP, along with core platforms including VMware, Windows Server, Linux, SQL, Exchange, and SolarWinds or similar monitoring tools.
• We prefer familiarity with standard ITIL processes.

• We design, oversee, and contribute to technology and platform implementations across our corporate network, server, application, and voice infrastructure.
• We help ensure high availability of infrastructure systems that support internal employee functions and external customer contact.
• We collaborate with IT leadership, executive stakeholders, and decision-makers to define business requirements and system goals.
• We create and deploy new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems.
• We evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop improved strategies.
• We perform cost-benefit and ROI analyses for proposed systems to support management decisions.
• We work with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure system-related products and services.
• We conduct server and security audits, system backups, disaster recovery activities, and continuity planning.
• We maintain documentation for system configuration, standard processes, and service records.
• We complete in-depth testing and end-user reviews for modified and new systems.
• We monitor and test system performance and support end-user training for the systems we maintain.
• We serve as a mentor and escalation point for team members.
• We perform additional duties as assigned.

We are hiring an Infrastructure Engineer III for a full-time, onsite role in Columbus, OH. This position is focused on keeping our in-house information systems running efficiently while supporting core business functions. The role is designed for someone who can work independently, think strategically, and still provide hands-on infrastructure support when needed. We offer the opportunity to contribute to operational stability, vendor coordination, technical documentation, and leadership responsibilities while helping improve infrastructure maturity and service delivery.
