Insurance Agent

Seeking a customer-focused Insurance Agent to assist personal lines clients, prepare quotes, explain coverage options, process payments, and support claims. A Michigan Property and Casualty license is preferred or must be obtained within the required timeframe. Commission, bonuses, and benefits are available after training and direct hire.

Insurance Agent Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $18.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm )

• Will be working with home and auto clients primarily, as well as other personal policy lines.
• Will be answering phones, creating insurance proposals, presenting protection solutions, processing payments, studying and referencing insurance policy language, and submitting claims.
• The company offers commission and bonuses once hired direct and training is complete.
• Health, dental, and vision insurance available once hired direct.
• Current Property and Casualty license preferred.
• If there is no current license, candidate must be able to pass the Michigan Property and Casualty licensing exam within a given timeframe.

Insurance Agent Qualifications:

• Previous insurance experience preferred.
• Previous administrative experience required.
• Strong work history is a must.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• High school diploma/GED required but Associate’s degree is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are required.
• Health, Property and Casualty license highly preferred.
