About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department (ED) for a 13-week contract in Globe, Arizona. The RN will provide emergency nursing care in a 10-bed Emergency Department within a critical access hospital serving patients with urgent, emergent, and trauma-related conditions.
This night-shift position requires strong emergency nursing skills, the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and participation in required on-call coverage.
ResponsibilitiesPerform rapid and comprehensive assessments of patients presenting with urgent, emergent, and trauma-related conditions.
Prioritize patient care and implement appropriate emergency nursing interventions based on clinical status.
Administer medications and treatments while monitoring patients for changes in condition and response to care.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate timely and effective emergency care.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation while supporting patient safety, infection-control practices, and required on-call responsibilities.
Minimum 3 Years of Registered Nurse Experience Required; Emergency Department Experience Required.
Current, Active Registered Nurse License Required; Applicable Arizona Practice Requirements Must Be Met Before Start.
Current BLS/BCLS and ACLS Certifications Required.
Current PALS and NRP Certifications Required Per Requisition.
Flu Vaccination Required With No Exceptions; Permanent Residence Must Be at Least 100 Miles From the Assignment Location.
This contract opportunity is suited for an experienced Emergency Department RN comfortable working night shifts in a critical access and Level IV trauma environment with required call coverage.
